The Turkmen Agricultural Institute in the city of Dashoguz under the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan will enroll first students In the new academic year. The decree on the establishment of the institute was signed by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in the course of the March 17 meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers. The construction of the institute building is nearing completion.

The head of state gave instructions to hire competent lecturers to work in the new institute, to provide staff the library and departments with methodical literature and textbooks, and solve all organizational issues in the soonest manner.

The President appointed former Minister of Agriculture Esenmyrat Orazgeldiev Rector of the Turkmen Agricultural Institute. By a separate decree, Orazgeldiev was relieved of his post of Minister of Agriculture for shortcomings in work, the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat.

The head of state demanded that vice-premiers Myratgeldi Akmammedov and Hydyr Saparlyev keep under permanent control the issue of training at the institute of highly educated and skilled professionals who have in the future to work in the agricultural sector of Turkmenistan.
