A festival of friendship between fraternal Turkmen and Uzbek peoples will be held in the city of Dashoguz on 17-19 September 2010. It will be organized by the Ministry of Culture and Broadcasting of Turkmenistan and administration of Dashoguz province.

As the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a resolution to this effect in the course of the February 26 meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers. He instructed relevant officials to ensure the proper level of organization of the festival and approved the composition of the festival's organizing committee.
